Jay Swaminarayan,
the work done by the sadhus and the volunteers is very tremendous
at the time of the Gujarat earthquake, nobody could believe how
the sanstha has worked hard to rescue the victims and help them
with shelter and food. Even foreigners were shocked to see how these
people were working round the clock to help the victims, well organised.

It was the
first opportunity of my life to come in contact with the work of
this esteemed organisation at 'bhuj' gujrat in the month of February
2001, soon after the quake . I head a social organisation with its
centre at Delhi and intended to do something that could help in
rehabilitating people at quake struck area at a mental level. We
could not ascertain as to where should we base our activities since
the small stature of our institution required a specific area ...
hence someone guided us to your organisational centre at 'bhuj'
city. On our advent we noticed another city being catered within
bhuj itself under the relief measures of your temple. It impressed
me to its depth ...the way your sadhus The way your workers with
sheer dedication were working with endless energy ... i was certainly
impressed. I also had the opportunity to interact with your swamiji
heading the project at bhuj and he was courteous enough to suggest
us places out of survey record. Today after about four months i
have suddenly come across your site over the internet and could
not stop myself before i could leave my emotive appreciation for
the splendid job you have done at gujrat specially for the reason
that religious organisations under our religion seldom come forward
for such ventures and ... your name and the work is worth praise.
The name of our organisation is 'Apno kaj Srejan", we are into raising
of enlightened citizenry by way of orgainising orientation programs
for citizens upon system of governance. We also run a weekly newspaper
in hindi and under which we informed about Swami Narayan relief
operation to our readers. I would look forward for more association
with such an esteemed organisation in near future. |

is an excellent website with statics pages. your graphics and text
matter is well organized. murti darshan and slide show in vicharan
section is the best result of your planning, as i am in america
i am more interested about satsang news in usa, i also visited usa
and canada section, i am more surprized that Pramukh Swami Maharaj
and saints with their volunteers are doing excellent seva of indians
in usa, in usa mandir is not only a temple but a spritual and social
harmony place where people worship god and swaminarayn.org is not
only a website but proud of every indian, becuase your website spread

What can i say about this website ? - Words just can't explain it,
can they ? This is the only 'true' website you will find, that is
not only knowledgeable, but also life changeable. I've been going
on this website for a real.... long time. (4 1/2 hrs.) and it's
just unexplainable. Thank Lord Swaminarayan that he has given us
our guru - HDH Pramukh Swami, and their blessings. In conclusion,

Your frequent updates to this site are greatly appreciated by devotees
worldwide. I have a few suggestions though. It would be nice if
you could add a section on symbols and rituals in our sampraday.
There really should be an explanation on what tilak-chandalo means,
why we do aarti and puja, why we follow maryaada in our mandirs,
etc. Those new to our sampraday would greatly benefit from this.
Also, it would be great if you could add some prasangs from Sheeji
Maharaj's life in the Divine Inspirations section. Keep up the good
work! |
