The Society
conducts examinations for the four levels of courses,
namely: Levels '0', 'A', 'B' & 'C'. Certificates/Diplomas
are awarded to successful candidates by the Society
The Course
and Examination, leading to a diploma or certificate,
are in four types as:
'0'-LEVEL = A FOUNDATION LEVEL
'O' Level certifies the candidate's competence as
a "Programmer Assistant" or equivalent level; this is
visualized as the lowest rung; the course conducted shall
not be less then one year in duration and should be equivalent
to part time studies, of an average student, in one year.
'A'-LEVEL = PGDCA OR PPDCA
'A'-Level evidences the candidate's skill as a programmer;
the course undergone at the certified institute shall
not be less than a year in duration and should be equivalent
to a full time effort, of an average student, of
a year.
'B'-LEVEL = MCA
'B'-Level attests the candidate's proficiency as a
Systems Analyst/Software Engineer; the course duration,
at the approved institute shall not be less than three
year in duration and should be equivalent to a three year,
full time study, of an average student.
'C'-LEVEL = MTech
'C'-Level be speaks the candidate's virtuosity
as a Systems Manager; the course duration, at the accredited
Institution shall not be less than 18 months and should
be equivalent to an eighteen month full time study,
of an average student.
