What is DOEACC?
A
DOEACC (Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses) is a joint scheme of AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and MIT (Ministry of Information Technology), Government of India.

Which are the courses offered by PIIT?
A
PIIT offeres the courses accredited by the DOEACC society, i.e.
1. O-Level=Foundation
2. A-Level= PGDCA (Diploma)
3. B-Level=MCA

What are the eligibility criterias for DOEACC courses?
A
For O-Level : 10+2 or 10+ITI passed
For A-Level : O-Level or Graduate in any discipline or Polytechnic Diploma holder
For B-Level : A-Level or Graduate in any discipline or Polytechnic Diploma holder
Q
Whats is the admission criteria?
A
For admission to PIIT, one has to appear for an entrance test and after successfully passing the entrance test he/she has to face the personal interview.

Who is eligible for entrance test?
A
A candidate satisfying minimum eligibility criteria as mentioned above can appear for the written test.

What are the job opportunities for the DOEACC qualifiers?
A
As the DOEACC courses recognised by the Government of India, and also these courses are passed through the Gazzete of India, the DOEACC qualifiers can apply for any Central Government or any State Government jobs, or any national of multinational companies or bank jobs.
The DOEACC B-Level qualifiers can appear in competitive exams like UPSC, GPSC, NDA or any competitive exam of the Central Government or of any State Government.

Q What are the foreign opportunities?
A The DOEACC courses are recognized by the USA and, recently Japan has also opened the doors for DOEACC A-Level qualifiers.

Q Is there any bank loan assistance available?
A
Yes, as per the Government norms, the DOEACC students are eligible for the loans from any nationalized banks.
