Bhagwan Swaminarayan has stated in His Shikshãpatri: “Pravartinã sadvidyã” (Inspire true education). In accordance with this principle, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha has commenced the noble task of educating lower, middle-class children whose parents are not able to afford proper schooling. Living in an economically deprived area, these innocent children would be condemned to a dismal future without sound education – a future of grinding poverty, intense hardships and no opportunity. A future without hope. To bring back hope to the eyes of these children, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha has launched its latest educational project – BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir in Sarangpur.

Located in Saurashtra, Gujarat, Sarangpur is also known as Naimishãranya Kshetra – a pilgrimage centre whose holy, peaceful and natural environment is renowned worldwide.

• Campus area – 37 acres
• Construction area – 5,10,000 sq. ft.
• School buildings – Two well-planned school buildings with large classrooms, fully ventilated, inspiring children to learn attentively and without any disturbances
• Hostels – Four well-organised hostels with a total of 186 rooms. Each room can accommodate 8 students
• Assembly Hall – A large prayer hall that can accommodate 2,500 students for morning and evening prayers. Yogãsanas, exercises, games as well as educational, cultural and spiritual activities are conducted in this well-facilitated hall
