Ceremony
Today was the Bicentenary
day of the Swaminarayan Mahamantra and the 50th consecration anniversary
of the Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Mandir established by Shastriji
Maharaj.
Swamishri performed the murti pratishtha of Shri Ghanshyam Maharaj and
pujan of Shastriji Maharaj in the first sanctum of the mandir.
During the murti pratishtha assembly, Swamishri honored the descendants
of Dada Khachar and Jiva Khachar and blessed them. In his blessings,
Swamishri said, "There is no greater pilgrim place for us than
Gadhpur. Shriji Maharaj stayed here, performed lila and blessed all
with His divine happiness. If we remember this, it will make us immensely
happy. Shriji Maharaj gave the Swaminarayan mantra in Faneni and spread
the mantra from Gadhada. Every grain of soil in Gadhada is holy."
Then Swamishri narrated the devotion of Jiva Khachar and Dada Khachar.
