This year's kishore-kishori shibir, whose theme was 'Almast Jogi', was held in two phases in the esteemed presence of Pujya Kothari Bhaktipriya Swami.

The first phase from 18-20 August was attended by 110 kishores and 90 kishoris from the upcountry centers. The second phase from 21-23 August was attended by 230 kishores and 140 kishoris from London and Europe. Thus, a total of 570 kishores-kishoris attended.

The shibir began with the entry of Shri Jabreshwar Maharaj, Pujya Kothari Swami and sadhus, accompanied by the Akshar Marching Band from Leicester - since Yogiji Maharaj was very fond of bands.

Each day of the shibir focussed on a topic very dear to Yogiji Maharaj. The theme for day 1 was Know Him: Abhav-Avgun Free Day; day 2 was Understand Him: Antardrashti Day; and day 3 was Serve Him: Guna-Grahak Drashti Day. Speeches, presentations and discussions reinforced these messages. Classroom sessions were held on the following topics: Addictions, Guna-Grahak Drashti, Samjan in Satsang, Seva, Satsang Sabha, Satsang Vadhe ej Aram.

In the evening sessions, entertaining cultural presentations, further emphasizing the day's theme, were performed by kishores from different centers.

The presence of Pujya Kothari Swami and Pujya Ghanshyamcharan Swami proved to be an enjoyable and unforgettable experience for all.
Before departing, the kishores and kishoris pledged to strengthen their resolve in observing niyams, such as: performing daily puja, applying tilak-chandlo daily, reading satsang books daily, attending sabha regularly, not watching TV, movies etc., not eating out, not going to discos, parties, clubs, garbas etc., not having any addictions or vices, avoiding reading of bad books, magazines etc. and using the internet with discretion.

Everyone left with a greater understanding of Yogiji Maharaj's practical and inspiring principles and a firm resolve to apply them in daily life.
