With
the ongoing heavy monsoons in India many towns and villages
are inundated, stranding hundreds of thousands of people. The
situation is particularly dire in the city of Surat and other
towns and villages of Gujarat. Pramukh Swami Maharaj offered
dhun and prayers and engaged devotees in chanting dhun for 24
hours for the rains to stop, the flood waters to subside and
safety of hundreds of thousands of people. On Swamishri's inspiration
food packets and drinking water are being supplied by BAPS sadhus
and volunteers.
