With the inspiration of His Divine Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, a group of six BAPS sadhus were on a six day visit of Fiji where they held satsang meetings in the cities of Nadi, Ba and Suva. During their stay in Suva the Prime Minister of Fiji Mr. Laisenia Qarase greeted the sadhus at the residence of Bachubhai Patel on Saturday 4 December 2004.

The short meeting started with the traditional singing of Sanskrit shloks and a wonderful prayer by Santpurush Swami. Jnanpurush Swami spoke on the topic of “Managing the Self” with wonderful examples and anecdotes. In the end he also revealed the way in which His Divine Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj manages the BAPS by attending to the individual with a personal touch.

The Prime Minister also witnessed Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s unique devotion to God through a DVD presentation. He praised the way in which the BAPS serves humanity through its socio-spiritual activities.
