Pramukh Swami Maharaj Arrives in London

After completing three-and-a-half-months of vicharan in North America, Pramukh Swami Maharaj landed in London at 9:10pm on the evening of Monday 24 September 2007.
Shortly before 10:20pm, Swamishri with his beloved Harikrishna Maharaj entered the gates of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden, where they were greeted with a joyous reception from devotees.
After darshan of the murtis and abhishek of Shri Nilkanth Varni, Swamishri proceeded through the Haveli, welcomed with a rapturous applause. A short welcome assembly had been arranged.
On behalf of all the sadhus and devotees of UK & Europe, Yogvivek Swami welcomed Swamishri with a garland.
To mark the arrival, many devotees had observed hundred hours of fasting. Swamishri was pleased with their devotion and at the end of the assembly, he instructed all of them to break their fast. |
