The Los Angeles B.A.P.S. mandir celebrated its Rath Yatra Samaiyo (Festival) in the presence of Pujya Uttamcharan Swami and Pujya Kaivalyamurti Swami.

The festivities included kirtans and an engrossing speech by Pujya Uttamcharan Swami in which he explained the origins and meaning of this festival and why B.A.P.S. still celebrates it today.

Two distinguished guests were present from Maharashtra, India. Heading the delegation of the Government of Maharashtra was Dr. Sri Patangrao Kadam, Minister for Industries, Trade and Commerce. Accompanying Dr. Kadam was the Minister of State of Maharashtra for Industries and Environment, Sri Rajesh Ankushrao Tope.
