December 22-24, 2004
Reflect. Act. Satsang. This was the theme for the 2004 Southeast Regional KarCon held in Orlando, FL on December 22-24, 2004. In this memorable two day event kishore/kishori, bal/balika karyakars from the Southeast Region gathered to develop their skills. This year's theme required the karyakars to reflect upon Swamishri and his vicharan in America. Through this inspirational reflection, karyakars were taught to now act in satsang, making themselves and their mandals the best they could be. With the use of kathas, workshops, and activities, this task was accomplished.
New sanchalaks, co-sanchalaks, sabha sanchalaks, and personal contact coordinators participated in workshops and activities that helped them learn what their duties are as a karyakar, and how to do their sevas properly and efficiently. Sanchalaks/ co-sanchalaks learned how to make reasonable goals so that they can put them into use without faltering. They also learned how to effectively deal with kishores who back out of assignments for sabha by reasonably speaking with them. Sabha sanchalaks participated in workshops that taught them how to present in an effectual way. PC Coordinators attended workshops that helped them develop their organizational skills, and speak to new kishores appropriately. All karyakars went to activities that focused on how to answer the questions of someone who asks about Mystic India, Hinduism, Mandir, et cetera. With the keynote speeches and kathas of P. Santo, all were inspired to do their seva with a new-found zeal.
