The day marked a symbolic celebration of Diwali, Annkut and
birthday of Swamishri. During Annkut 465 different varieties
of food and fruit juices were offered to the Lord.

The last day of Swamishri’s stay in Nairobi. During Swamishri’s
82-day tour of Africa he sanctified 10 countries: S. Africa,
Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania,
Egypt and Israel. Swamishri inaugurated new mandirs in Nairobi,
Durban and Nakuru and re-established new murtis at the mandirs
in Dar-es-Salaam, Kampala and Jinja. Land for new mandirs were
acquired at Kisumu (Kenya) and Gaberon (Botswana). Swamishri
departed from Nairobi on Kenya Airways at 8.25 p.m. and arrived
in Mumbai in the early hours of Friday morning at 4.45 am.
