• After performing the murti pratishtha ceremony at the Shree Swaminarayan Mandir, Swamishri addressed the devotees in a huge assembly: "… Many intelligent people say that where is the need for mandirs? Why don't you build schools, colleges and hospitals. The answer is we do build schools, colleges and hospitals and perform various social services. Yes, we do need to stay with society and the country (and offer our services to it) but alongwith this it is also important that people should be inspired with moral and spiritual values. And if there is no character then there will be conflict and unrest between man and man. If we want to bring Satyuga in Kaliyuga then one has to abide by God's laws. Through Satsang one is inspired with moral and spiritual values and with peace in life… Through such holy places our society will improve and get better…"

• We have been blessed with the infinite favors of God and for that when we build a mandir it benefits our society, our country, and redeems our soul.
• Dharma bestows goodness and happiness in life.
• It is because of our dehbhav (profound attachment to physical self) that we cannot establish Satsang as it is in our soul.
• The world is not still and unwavering and one's mind is also not still and unwavering. Then how can one attain peace and happiness by merely talking about it? it is God who gives stillness to the world and mind.
