At 11.45 a.m., the Governor of Karnataka, H.E. T.N. Chaturvedi,
came for Swamishri's darshan. He was welcomed by Swamishri and
was enlightened about the BAPS socio-spiritual activities.

December 2003 (V.S. 2060, Posh sud 8) Tuesday,Bangalore
- A yagna for the
murti-pratishtha function was held today. Swamishri performed
the pujan and arti rituals of the deities. One hundred and
twenty-five devotees participated in the yagna rituals.
- A High Court
judge of Karnataka, Shri R Gururajan, came for Swamishri's
blessings.
- In the afternoon
a grand procession of the murtis was carried out on the
main streets of Bangalore.

2003 (V.S. 2060, Posh sud 9) Wednesday, Bangalore
Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha rituals of Shri Akshar
Purushottam Maharaj, Shri Ghanshyam Maharaj, Shri Harikrishna
Maharaj, Shri Radha Krishna Dev, Shri Ram Panchayatan, Shri
Tirupati Balaji and Padmavatiji, Shri Shiv Panchayatan and Guru
Parampara.
During the pratishtha assembly Pujya Viveksagar Swami explained
the need for mandirs. Finally, Swamishri blessed the assembly,
“Just as we have to daily attend to our work at the office or
factory, similarly, one needs to go for God's darshan. It makes
our daily work easier. There is peace in our family and in ourselves.”
More than 2000 devotees and wellwishers attended the pratishtha
festival.
In the evening assembly Shri Shri Shri Balagangadharnath – head
of Adi Chunchungiri Pith, Swami Shri Shri Shri Shivpuri Mahaswamiji
– head of Omkar Ashram, Shri Shri Nityanand Swami – head of
Bidadi Dhyan Pith and Mayor of Bangalore Shri P.R. Ramesh were
welcomed by Swamishri. The assembly guests briefly addressed
the audience.

2004 (V.S. 2060, Posh vad 2) Friday, Secundrabad
At 6.00 p.m., a special assembly of dignitaries, invitees and
devotees was held in the BAPS mandir hall. The subject of the
assembly was ‘Relevance of Spirituality in the 21st Century.’
After the ritual dhun and prayer a short video about an introduction
to BAPS was shown. Pujya Yagneshwar Swami gave the welcome address
followed by a speech in English from Pujya Vishwamurti Swami,
a bhajan by Pujya Krishnapriya Swami and a speech in Hindi by
Pujya Viveksagar Swami. Dr. P.C. Rao, former law secretary for
Government of India, spoke glowingly of Hindu dharma and Swamishri’s
services to society. Thereafter, the chief guest, Shri Devendra
Gupta, a High Court judge of Andhra Pradesh, addressed the assembly.
Finally Swamishri blessed the assembly, elaborating upon the
life and work, and message of Bhagwan Swaminarayan in making
mankind happy

2004 (V.S. 2060, Posh vad 3) Saturday, Secundrabad
Devotees from Samudral in Maharashtra, a village reconstructed
by BAPS after the earthquake in 1993, sang dhun and bhajans.
One hundred and thirty-two devotees had arrived for the murti-pratishtha
function, out of which forty-two had pilgrimaged by foot, covering
a distance of 142 km from Samudral.

2004 (V.S. 2060, Posh vad 4) Sunday, Secundrabad
- On the eve of
the murti-pratishtha function a yagna was held. Around 36
yagna kunds, 310 couples participated in the rituals. Swamishri
worshipped the murtis by performing pujan and arti.
During the yagna, the Home Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Shri
Devendra Gaud, arrived and was welcomed by Swamishri. Honourable
Gaud expressed his gratitude to Swamishri for blessing Secundarabad
with a mandir.
- After the yagna,
Swamishri sanctified the mandir garden and performed pujan
of a beautiful, large murti of Shri Ganapatiji.
From 4.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m., a procession of the murtis
was carried on the main streets of Secundarabad.
- The evening assembly
celebrated the symbolic Joli festival.

2004 (V.S. 2060, Posh vad 5) Monday, Secundrabad
- Swamishri performed the murti-pratishtha
ritual and consecrated the murtis of Shri Akshar Purushottam
Maharaj, Shri Harikrishna Maharaj, Shri Ghanshyam Maharaj,
Shri Radha Krishna Dev, Shri Balaji and Padmavatiji, Shri
Ram, Lakshman and Sitaji, Shri Hanumanji, Shri Ganapatiji
and Kartikeya and Guru parampara. After performing the pujan
of murtis, an annakut was arranged and Swamishri performed
the murti-pratishtha arti.
- Thereafter, the murti-pratishtha
assembly was held in the mandir hall. Shri Vidyadhar Rao,
Minister for Industries, Andhra Pradesh, honoured Swamishri
with a garland and addressed the assembly.
Swamishri blessed the assembly, “By the grace of God,
a beautiful mandir has been constructed and inaugurated.
It has been done through the effort and cooperation of all.
In such works, whether it is spiritual or social, one comes
across problems and difficulties. But if one perseveres
with faith, one definitely achieves success…”
- Under auspices of the murti-pratishtha
function the BAPS and Lions Club of Hyderabad had organised
an eye camp on 4, 7, 10 and 11 January. A total of 318 people
availed of the camp. From 4 to 12 January, a medical camp
was also organised by BAPS and Care Hospital in which 203
patients were checked and treated.
