    Swamishri during the inauguration assembly of a children's hostel run by 'Bavis Gam Patidar Kelavani Mandal'
    • 3 February 2004 (V.S. 2060, Maha sud 12) Tuesday, Vidyanagar
      Swamishri attended the Annual Day celebration of Akshar Purushottam Chhatralay. The youths sang bhajans and performed a drama. After an award giving ceremony to outstanding students of the Chhatralay, Swamishri blessed the gathering.

     
    • 4 February 2004 (V.S. 2060, Maha sud 13) Wednesday, Vidyanagar
      At 10.30 a.m., Swamishri traveled to the ‘Shri Bavis Gam Patidar Kelavani Mandal Boys Hostel’ on the Vidyanagar-Karamsad Road. After the pujan rituals Swamishri inaugurated the hostel and blessed the inaugural assembly.

      • After his morning puja, Swamishri performed the pratishtha rituals of murtis for BAPS hari mandirs for the villages of Karoli and Malataj.
      • Swamishri presided over and blessed the 3rd Annual Day Celebration of Pramukh Swami Computer Institute.

      At the BAPS mandir in Nadiad, Swamishri performed the pratishtha rituals of murtis for the prayer hall in the Chhatralay.

    • 8 February 2004 (V.S. 2060, Maha vad 2) Sunday, Gandhinagar; Golden Anniversary Celebration of BAPS Children’s Forum
      From 6.00 p.m. to 8.45 p.m., the grand Golden Anniversary Celebration of BAPS Children’s Forum was held in the precincts of Akshardham in the presence of HDH Pramukh Swami Maharaj, President of India H.E. Abdul Kalam, Deputy Prime Minister Shri Advaniji, Governor of Gujarat H.E. Kailaspati Mishra, Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Narendra Modi and 20,000 BAPS children from all over Gujarat.     • 10 February 2004 (V.S. 2060, Maha vad 4) Tuesday, Gandhinagar; Children’s Day
      In the evening Children’s Day program, children wonderfully performed a parayan on the Bhaktachintamani with all the rituals of pujan and arti. Swamishri showered his blessings on the children and addressed the assembly.

    • 11 February 2004 (V.S. 2060, Maha vad 5) Wednesday, Gandhinagar
      Swamishri performed the pratishtha rituals of pujan and arti of the deities for the BAPS hari mandir in the town of Kalol. Thereafter Swamishri blessed the devotees by showering rice grains.

      In the evening assembly, Shri Harikrishna Maharaj was festively honored by the devotees.
       
     
         
       
         
     

    To please Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj children, youths and senior devotees perform austerities, pilgrimages or other devotional means. The spiritual endeavors performed by the devotees during Swamishri's visit to the local centers are congratulatory and worthy of recognition. It also reflects Swamishri's divinity for inspiring such spiritual efforts in children, teenagers and devotees.

    2 February 2004, Atladra

    • For Swamishri’s good health, 550 male and 1520 female devotees observed a waterless fast. A youth from Siyabaug performed 8,300 prostrations for Swamishri’s good health.

    6 February 2004, Gandhinagar

    • A satsangi child performed a waterless fast for Swamishri’s good health.

    7 February 2004, Gandhinagar

    • 2 satsangi children prostrated 3 kms from Sector 17 to the hari mandir.

    9 February 2004, Gandhinagar

    • 45 devotees prostrated a distance of 3 km from G.E.B. Colony to the hari mandir.

    10 February 2004, Gandhinagar

    • 16 satsangi children from sectors 24 and 27 pilgrimaged by foot for 5 km. 15 satsangi children offered prostrations from Sector 23 to the hari mandir. For Swamishri’s good health two female devotees pilgrimaged by foot from the town of Mansa.

    14 February 2004, Gandhinagar

    • Three satsangi children were blessed by Swamishri for observing a waterless fast for 83 hours. 6 satsangi children pilgrimaged by foot from Sector 26 for Swamishri’s good health.

    15 February 2004, Gandhinagar

    • For Swamishri’s good health 107 female satsangis observed the austerity of khatras and one female satsangi observed a waterless fast for 23 hours.
