    55th Pramukh Varni Din assembly
    • 11 June 2005 (V.S. 2061, Jeth sud 4) Saturday, Junagadh; 55th Pramukh Varni Din
From 5 June the evening assemblies were celebrated as Shri Hari day, Gunatit Day, Bhagatji Maharaj Day, Shastriji Maharaj Day and Yogiji Maharaj Day, in which skits, speeches and blessings of Swamishri were the main highlights.
Today the evening assembly was in celebration of Swamishri’s 55th anniversary as president of BAPS. In his blessings Swamishri said, “Bhagwan Swaminarayan came on this earth with his abode (Aksharbrahma) and muktas to redeem countless people. Maharaj travelled in the forests and throughout India and arrived in Sorath. After Ramanand Swami passed away he introduced the Swaminarayan mantra and he became known as Swaminarayan85” Then Swamishri talked briefly about the work of Guru Parampara.

           Key to Progress
    • 12 June 2005 (V.S. 2061, Jeth sud 5) Sunday, Junagadh

Two brothers requested Swamishri that he blesses them so that unity persists in their family. In response Swamishri stated, “Keep three ‘S’s in your lives: satsang, seva (service) and samp (unity). May the mutual feelings that you have now continue. Instil this sentiment in your children. Only then you will progress.”
