During the summer vacation, five one-day shibirs were held in Amdavad for yuvaks and yuvatis.
The 40 suburbs of Amdavad where weekly satsang assemblies take place were divided into five groups. In addition to the mandir in Shahibaug (5 May), the Sanskardhams at Satellite (6 May), Ghatlodia (6 May), Maninagar (8 May) and Bapunagar (8 May) were used as venues. The yuvaks and yuvatis were invited to attend the venue nearest to their suburb.

Throughout the day, the shibir theme was reinforced with speeches by sadhus, discussions, audio-visual presentations and question-answer sessions.

The speech topics were: My Ideal Guru, Living an Exemplary Life, The Service and Sacrifice of BAPS Sadhus and Devotees, and Think Positive. Also, Pujya Ishwarcharan Swami graced the shibirs and spoke about the need for youths to associate with a God-enlightened Sadhu to help them cross the ocean of youth. He also described Yogiji Maharaj’s unique ‘mobile shibirs’ for youths, which Yogiji Maharaj himself conducted as they toured with him in the villages during their vacation.
About 1000 yuvaks and 900 yuvatis attended the five shibirs and gained much guidance and inspiration on how to strengthen their personal practice of Satsang.
