During
August and September 2005, balaks of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in
Nairobi, Nakuru, Kisumu, Kericho, Eldoret, Mombasa and Mwanza visited
over 750 homes to talk to other children and their parents.
During the visit the BAPS children talked about the Sanstha's children
activities and encouraged their listeners to undertake some of the vows
below:
- To
tell the rosary and pray every morning.
- To perform personal daily puja.
- To offer panchang pranam to parents
daily.
- To study for at least three hours daily.
- To abstain from addictions.
- To attend the weekly children's assembly
These
home visits were wholeheartedly appreciated by all and inspired many
to lead a nobler life.
