Reservation Information and Form
Things to Bear in Mind
Please ensure that the Guidelines
are read carefully and adhered to at all time.
Students are requested to bring necessary
stationery i.e. pencil, pen, clipboard, blank paper, etc. and any
other educational materials needed for their project or research.
You are visiting a Hindu place of worship, a sacred
place for Hindus. Silence should be maintained while visiting the
main floor of the mandir.
As marble has been used to cover the mandir floor,
you should not allow children to run. Take extra care while visiting
the main floor when using the steps. Carvings or pillars should not
be touched.
Seating Arrangements
There are separate seating arrangements for men and women inside the
main floor during the Aarti ceremony. All visitors are requested to
adhere to these arrangements during the Aarti ceremony. Please note
that the Aarti ceremony takes place at 11:30 am. Your tour guide will
let you know if your visit coincides with the Aarti ceremony.
Packed Lunch Arrangements
As the mandir is a sacred place of worship, food or drink items which
contain meat, fish, eggs, animal products or alcohol are not allowed
inside the complex. Therefore, if visitors have such products in their
bags, they are requested to leave them behind in the bus, van, or
car.
Individuals and Families
Everyone is welcome to visit the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. Individuals
and families do not need to book their visit. On arrival, please enquire
with Mandir personnel inside the Mandir if you would like a guided
tour. A guide will be provided if one is available.
School and Group Visits
Schools and groups are welcome to visit the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan
Mandir. Advanced reservations are required for school and group visits
in order to make your visit comfortable. Visits are also entertained
on weekends and holidays subject to available visiting time slots.
The timings for group tours will be as follows: 9:00 am – 12:00
pm and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm daily.
Schools/groups should arrive at the mandir 10 – 15 minutes prior
to their allotted time slot.

If you prefer to print and fax, please email a request to tour.atlanta@usa.baps.org.
Please allow at least 2 weeks advanced
notice when scheduling a tour. Once the final details of the day,
date and time slot are confirmed by the Mandir Tour Office, a confirmation
will be sent to you by email or fax.
Cancellation Procedure
If you are unable to make it for any reason after confirmation of
the reservation, please let us know by email or fax so that your slot
can be made available for another group.
