Guidelines
The Mandir is a house of God, open to all. All
visitors are requested to abide by the following guidelines applicable
in all areas of the Mandir.
Timings: Visiting Hours are 9
am – 12 pm and 4 pm – 6 pm daily. Guided tours for groups
larger than 10 are available during these hours Monday thru Sunday.
Dress Code: Smart casual clothing. No shorts, miniskirts, sleeveless
tops (spaghetti strap tops or tanks) allowed. Trousers are preferable.
Shoes: All visitors must remove their shoes when they enter
the Mandir. Shoe racks are located within the complex.
Video and Photography: Strictly prohibited inside the Mandir.
Photography may only be taken from the parking lot level on the side
of the Mandir and from the reflection pond level in front of the Mandir.
Cell phones and Bluetooth devices: To maintain the spiritual
and peaceful atmosphere, we request visitors to turn off their cell
phones and Bluetooth devices during their visit inside the Mandir.
Parking: Free. There are ample parking spaces for cars around
the site. Coach passengers are requested to unboard as directed by
volunteers.
Smoking: Strictly prohibited on entire premises.
Food and drink: No food or drink is allowed on the premises.
Please discard chewing gum prior to entering the Mandir complex.
Security: Please follow directions and signs for your personal
security.
Conduct: Please refrain from touching the delicate carvings.
To maintain the spiritual atmosphere, please observe silence inside
Mandir.
Special needs: Elevator access and wheelchairs provided upon
request.
Guided tour: During the tour, we request silence be maintained
on the main floor of the Mandir. Please allow at least 45 minutes
for an enjoyable visit
Entry: Free (Donations are welcome; make checks payable to
BAPS.)
