|In the aftermath of the devastating earthquake
that has shocked Gujarat, the Bochasanwasi Shree Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan
Sanstha (BAPS), through the inspiration of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, has
activated a massive relief aid operation.
The BAPS has over 100 sadhus and 1000 volunteers helping the victims in the worst affected areas. The BAPS is providing clothing, shelter, medical aid and has set up kitchens to feed victims and relief teams.
From Rajkot, Mumbai, Sarangpur, Bochasan, Vadodara, Indore, Calcutta and many other BAPS centres over 400 tons of foodstuffs, clothing, shelter materials, medicines, blankets, drinking water and other essential emergency supplies have been transported to the worst affected areas. More supplies are being sent on a daily basis from Amdavad and other BAPS relief work centres.
