The inclusion of 451 color photographs, 39 paintings and 11 maps have succesfully captured the true spirit of festivals, with the central emphasis on devotion to Parmatma and the deities, rather than just mundane enjoyment. There ale also practical ideas in the appendix about how children can celebrate festivals. For both young NRIs and those in India, this book is a must.
