The spectacular
Fuldol festival of 1997. Held at Vidyanagar, the whole celebration
was a recreation of the Fuldol festival celebrated by Bhagwan
Swaminarayan 181 years previously at nearby Vadtal. For the first
time, Swamishri celebrated this festival at night - and still
over 100,000 devotees thronged to experience this special occasion.
