    • 19 December 2005 (V.S. 2062, Magshar vad 4) Monday, Gandhinagar
      Swamishri performed the pratishtha rituals of pujan and arti of the murtis of Akshar Purushottm Maharaj, Guru Parampara, Hanumanji and Ganapatiji for the BAPS hari mandir in Kesli.
       
     
    • 24 Decmeber 2005 (V.S. 2062, Magshar vad 8) Saturday, Jhadeshwar (Bharuch); Children’s Day
      At 7.10 pm Viveksagar Swami concluded his discourse in the evening assembly. Thereafter children sang Veda mantra, performed a dance, a drama on how a satsangi boy fought with his mind to offer a melon to Shriji Maharaj and played a game. Finally Swamishri blessed the assembly, “It was Yogiji Maharaj’s wish to inspire good character in children. Value-based education benefits the society in the long run. Education without values is destructive. By values we mean character. If this is attained from the beginning then it protects us. One never thinks of inflicting pain or making others miserable…”
       
     
    • 25 December 2005 (V.S. 2062, Magshar vad 9) Sunday, Jhadeshwar, Surat
      At 7.00 pm Swamishri was welcomed with fireworks on his arrival on stage. More than 35,000 devotees clapped and welcomed Swamishri. BAPS youths and children performed two traditional welcome dances. Thereafter Swamishri was garlanded by senior sadhus, devotees and dignitaries. In his blessings Swamishri said, “Through the wish of Yogiji Maharaj grand mandirs have been accomplished, there is a large number of sadhus and satsang is growing in the world. The Akshardham in Delhi has been accomplished through the wish of Yogiji Maharaj. Through God’s wish and inspiration the mandir has been realised.     To please Bhagwan Swaminarayan and Guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj children, youths and senior devotees perform austerities, pilgrimages or other devotional means. The spiritual endeavors performed by the devotees during Swamishri's visit to the local centers are congratulatory and worthy of recognition. It also reflects Swamishri's divinity for inspiring such spiritual efforts in children, teenagers and devotees.

    • The Kishoris of Gandhinagar performed three-day fast taking water only.

    17 December 2005, Gandhinagar

    • Sixty female and sixty male devotees pilgrimaged by foot from Kadi.

    18 December 2005, Gandhinagar

    • Ten kishores and nine kishori pilgrimaged by foot from Kalol.

    20 December 2005, Gandhinagar

    • Ten male and seven female BAPS youths observed 85- hours of waterless fast and forty-nine youths observed a fast on water only.
    • A devotee observed a 7-day liquid fast and pilgrimaged 16 km by foot. Two young girls, one five years old and another 2.1/2 years old, observed 85 hour liquid fast.

    • Two children pilgrimaged 15 km by foot from Andada village.

    24 December 2005, Bharuch

    • To please Swamishri male and female volunteers of the Children’s Forum had performed 36,381 malas, 172,213 pradakshinas, 18,716 dandvat, 150,636 panchang pranam.
    • Eight children of Ankleshwar bal mandal pilgrimaged 11 km by foot, doing mala along the way. Three youths and five female devotees of Nahiyer pilgrimaged 42 km by foot in 11 hrs. Eight devotees of Amod pilgrimaged 45 km by foot.
