This murti of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj was first made in the entire Swaminarayan Sampraday on the instruction of Aksharbrahma Gunatitanand Swami for worship in the mahapuja in Junagadh. From then onwards the tradition of worshipping such 'chal' murtis of Shri Harikrishna Maharaj was established in the Swaminarayan Sampraday.
